« DUI homicide charges filed in crash death
The police officers have charged an Enola man with homicide by vehicle while DUI after that he had a crash on Sunday as a result of which a 22-year-old Stuart Antonio Bingham Jr. of Mechanicsburg has been killed.

It has been said by East Pennsboro Township police on Monday that Richard Jones, 52, of the 100 block of South Enola Drive, had been driving on only a front rim when he had ran a red light and his vehicle struck Bingham’s.
It has been said by Lt. Mark Green that the Forensic tests have not yet been finished but debris and some run-over mailboxes have been found by investigators along Valley Street and it has been believed by them that Jones hit them before heading out on Wertzville Road.
It has been said by the Cumberland County Chief Deputy Coroner Todd Eckenrode that Bingham was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
It had happened at 5:30 p.m. at Wertzville Road and Center Street. It has been told by the police that Bingham had pulled out from Center Street with a green light when Jones, who was eastbound on Wertzville Road, did not managed to stop for a red light and his Ford Ranger pickup truck struck the driver’s side door of Bingham’s Ford Taurus.
It has been found by the officers that Jones was under the influence of alcohol and then they arrested him. It has been reported by them that his blood alcohol content was not yet available due to the reason that the test results had not been returned.
A 21-year-old Summerdale woman who was a passenger in Bingham’s vehicle has also been admitted to a hospital as she was injured in the crash, as said by the police, and Jones had also been taken to a hospital before that they have lodged in Cumberland County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
The police has arraigned Jones before Cumberland County Magisterial District Judge Vivian Cohick on charges of DUI, homicide by vehicle while DUI, reckless driving, failure to stop for a red light and careless driving. The police said that he was also charged with hit-and-run, in connection with the crash that initially caused his flat tire.
Aug.17 has been set for Jones’ preliminary hearing before Cumberland County Magisterial District Judge Richard Dougherty.
