« Former UK Coach Billy Gillispie Arrested on DUI Charge
On Thursday at 2:45 a.m., Former Kentucky basketball coach Billy Gillispie has been arrested and charged with DUI.

At the time when Gillispie was driving a white 2009 Mercedes with Texas tags, someone has reported that he has been driving the car erratically, the station reports. Sources say Gillispie declined to take a breathalyzer or blood alcohol test.
It has been told by the Police that a passenger, 42-year-old Charles O’Conner was also arrested and charged with intoxication. Both men has been taken to Franklin County jail.
Reports says that there had been two prior incidents involving alcohol when Gillispie was hired at Kentucky. In 1999, Gillispie had been arrested for two charges: driving while intoxicated and improper use of a lane in Tulsa, Okla. He pleaded guilty to a charge of reckless driving, and the other charges on him were dismissed.
According to the newspaper, in 2003, when it was his first year at the University of Texas-El Paso, Gillispie was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. Later the charges were dismissed after a specially appointed prosecutor decided at that time that there was not enough evidence to suggest Gillispie,was drunk and at that time he was at the age of 43.
