« Police plan DUI checkpoints in Brentwood and Livermore
The Livermore and Brentwood police departments have planned to hold sobriety and drivers license checkpoints over the next seven days.

It has been decided by them that the checkpoints will be held in those areas where there is a high occurrence of DUI crashes or arrests.
All drivers should anticipate to be delayed for a moment while an officer would check to ensure that their license is current and also he would look for signs of drunkenness.
The checkpoints of Livermore will be held in the evening hours of Saturday, and the Brentwood checkpoint shall be held the following Friday, on Aug. 21.
The California Office of Traffic Safety will pay grants to both checkpoints.
