« Rapid Rise in DUI Arrests among Women

According to the new figures there is a rapid increase in DUI arrests among women while the DUI arrest among men are falling.

The numbers that has been compiled by the FBI have shown that there has been a nearly 30 percent jump in the arrest of women for DUI between 1998, and 2007.

The number of men that has been arrested during that same time period dropped up to 7.5%.

These figures cover only just half the country, but a criminologist of Carnegie Mellon University has told the Associated Press that the trend probably holds true for the nation as a whole.
