DUI arrests for women had risen 30% since 2007. This increase is seen with many female celebrities who had arrested for suspected drunk driving.

She pleads no contest to DUI but pled guilty to a lesser charge of a misdemeanor of reckless driving. She was fined $700 with sentence to attend a 12-hour drug education program and placed on 3 years.

In the same year of 2007 Lindsay Lohan also received a DUI offense. She pled no contest to driving under influence and received three years probation. She was also ordered to serve 10 days community service. 30 days in drug rehab and complete an 18 months alcohol education program.

Recently her probation is extended because according to Beverly Hills judge Lohan haven’t completed the required treatment programs. As her DUI attorney claimed that they could finish the required programs and feels they can overturn the extension.

This year in month of July actress Joyce Dewitt was arrested for DUI. She drove her car through a barricade attracting the local police department.

That time when police walked to the place they smelled alcohol. They gave her the regulated field tests and afterward she was arrested. She was released on bail after posting $5000.

Now question is that did DUI arrests rise in woman have any connection with female celebs. Answer for those are simple and its yes, because these famous women influence most of people and they follow their trends. There can be other reason also for DUI rise in woman, workplace pressure, or any other personal tensions.

There can be many reasons that why this is on the rise with woman in the U.S. We can yet only speculate, the reality bases on the ground researches.
