« Fatal DWI crash – Man gets 15-year Sentence
A suburban St. Louis man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison. He has conducted a deadly crash on Interstate 70.
Chad E. Frazer was sentenced on Friday for involuntary manslaughter and leaving the scene of the accident. The accident occurred on Feb. 19 in which Robert Wood was killed.
It has been said by the prosecutors that Frazer was driving about 120 mph when he strike the back of Wood’s car.
The impact killed the 51-year-old Robert Wood from Wright City as he was driving to his job at Boeing.
Frazer’s blood-alcohol level
Police said that it has been shown by the hospital tests that Frazer’s blood-alcohol level was 0.277 percent, which is more than three times the limit for drunken driving.
Relatives of Robert Wood
Relatives of Wood spoke during the sentencing hearing. It has been reported that they said that they had forgiven Frazer but they still believed that the 30-year-old O’Fallon man should go to prison.
