Glens Falls Police Sgt. Keith Knoop reported that Sean B. Willey, 38, of Vaughn Road was arrested at 2:54 a.m. after he passed through a red light at the intersection of Ridge Street and Dix Avenue without stopping.

It has been concluded by Glens Falls Police Officer Tony Lydon that he was intoxicated, but Knoop said that Willey refused to take a breath test.

Police has also found that Willey was having two hypodermic needles and a small amount of marijuana.

Willey has been previously charged with Felony DWI

Police reported that Willey already has three prior DWI arrests and two prior convictions. Moreover, he was arrested in Kingsbury late last year for a felony DWI charge, but later on he was allowed to plead guilty to a reduced charge of misdemeanor DWI, police said.

Charges against Willey

The charges against Willey are felony DWI, felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, misdemeanor criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and the non-criminal violation of unlawful possession of marijuana.

On Saturday he was being held pending arraignment in City Court later Saturday.
