« Mother Charged In Fatal DWI Crash made a Court Appearance
On Tuesday the woman made an appearance in court. She is accused of driving drunk in a crash that killed an 11-year-old girl.

Carmen Huertas has been charged with manslaughter and DWI.
While in court, an envelope has been handed over by the District Attorney to Huertas’ defense attorney.
That envelope contains search warrants, surveillance video of the vehicle, and blood alcohol level reports.
It has been said by her lawyer that she remains on a suicide watch in the Elmhurst Hospital Prison Ward, saying that she has tried to kill herself multiple times.
Leandra Rosado, who was 11 years old, has been killed in the October crash on the Henry Hudson Parkway.
It has been said by Prosecutors that Huertas drank for hours at a family gathering before piling seven children into her car to take them to a slumber party.
The court has set Huertas’ next court appearance for January.
