DUI or driving under the influence (of alcohol, drugs etc.) can cause a person to be labelled as a convict for life, regardless of the severity of the offense. There is no discrimination in the law between light drinkers, and long time abusers. So it is imperative for a person to know of his rights with regard to his particular case, and if possible get expungement.
