Woman Charged With DUI After Plowing Into House »
This week, a 20-year-old Winnetka woman was charged with DUI. Earlier this month, she had lost control of her car, crashing into the living room of a sleeping Wilmette family.
The woman named Colleen D. Brennan, resident of the 600 block of Sheridan Road, was charged when she had a blood-alcohol content of .29, which is greater than three times the legal limit to drive of .08.
According to the Police, Brennan was alone in a Saab at 5 a.m. on Dec. 5, when she crashed into a fire hydrant and a parked car before crossing four lawns in the 1100 block of Ridge Road in Wilmette. After that, she drove right through the bushes, before going airborne and hitting the home.

A woman in Cannon Falls was charged with DWI for almost hitting an officer, who was helping out at an accident scene.
The 40-year-old Christina Leigh Ekstrom of Cannon Falls was charged by the prosecutors with two counts of driving while impaired in the third degree for the near-miss in June.

There were a series of complaints against Officer Richard Fiorito, which lead his superiors to order him to use a video camera in his squad car. The footage from this camera has now caused the officer to be caused of making fake arrests. The video is now being used against Fiorito in a law suit involving 21 people who are accusing the officer of having a DUI scheme.
