DUI Suspect Exceeded 105 MPH »

Police told that a drunken driver exceeded 105 mph during a pursuit along a major Edmond thoroughfare.

Spokeswoman of Edmond Police Glynda Chu told that this incident is enough to prove that drinking and driving is never a good idea, because it includes the high rate of speed, which can cause death.

DUI Arrest

She said that it was fortunate that no one got injured.

Police said that last Thursday they responded to a call about a possible intoxicated driver at 15th Street and Broadway. Edmond Police Officer Jackie Collar told that a red ford pickup was swerving and had crossed the center line.
